Canal Boat Fender Fitting Kit

Fender fitting kit used for attaching Trafalgar Marine Services handmade rope fenders to your canal boat.

Kit contains:

• 10 x 6mm steel D Shackles
• 2 x Turnbuckles
• 1 x 1 Meter of 5mm chain 
• 2 x 1 Meter of PVC protection tubing

The PVC protection tube can be cut to size and slide over fender chains to stop the chain rubbing on your boats paintwork. This kit will attach any two of our fenders. Usually customers opt for a long button on the stern and a V Bow on the front.

The steel turnbuckles would normally be attached to the two chains on the legs of the V Bow fender. They can be tightened to make sure the V Bow fender sits correctly on your boats stem post.
