Tipcat Rope Fender

The Trafalgar Marine tipcat fender is made from black polypropylene rope woven around a solid rubber core. The core is made from 100% recycled material and is guaranteed not to degrade over time.

This rope fender protects the back or stern of your canal boat. It can be combined with a long or short button fender on boats that have large rudders. The more traditional solution is to have two tipcats with a short button. 

The tipcat fender attaches to the boat by two chain fittings that are interlocked and moulded right through the solid rubber core.

You can also purchase D Shackles for attaching your rope fenders. Also turnbuckles are useful for tensioning the fenders together
